FAQ’s

How do I book a room?

Go to our bookings page, all our availability and prices are up to date.

Can I park at your property and how do I get to the Airport?

Whist booking your room you can add on your parking and tell us when you require transfers to the airport.

What Time can I check in?

We have reception staff available between 16:00 and 20:00.  If you are arriving later let us know and we will send you instructions.  For Guest arriving at Bristol Airport there is a good taxi service from the Airport, at any time.

We are attending a wedding locally — Can we Check-in earlier?

This can be difficult, as guests do not always vacate on time, and we have to clean the whole house, but we can send you instructions for a bag drop, and check in instructions for later arrival.We strongly advise you to book taxis early, to get to and from the venue.

How do I get to you from the train Station?

Once you have got to Temple Meads, Bristol’s main railway station, pick up a taxi to come straight to us,  It will cost you around £30.  Alternatively or take the Airport bus to the Airport, then get a taxi from there.  This will cost you £XX for the bus and £XX for the taxi.

Do you allow dogs?

We allow dogs in some, but not all, rooms.  You need to book them in as part of your room booking (where we allow them). We charge £5/night, per dog.

Are the rooms ensuite?

All our rooms have ensuite showers, except for the Superior double, which has a private bathroom adjacent .

Can We have a cooked Breakfast?

Sadly no.  We do however include a self service buffet breakfast which is available from early till 10 am. This includes fresh bread, cereals, jams and spreads, yogurt and fruit, tea and coffee.  If you cannot survive without a full cooked breakfast, you might want to try the Lye Cross Farm Bus Cafe, Lye Cross Farm, Lye Cross Road, Redhill, BS40 5RH,  less than 5 minutes drive away.

What time is Check-out?

We ask guests to Check-out and vacate the premises by 10am on the morning of their departure.  This enables us to clean rooms, change linen etc to prepare for new guests.

Can I have an evening meal there?

We do not provide an evening meal. but there are  very good pubs locally.  Have a look at the local activities page where we provide details of ones we rate.

Can we use your kitchen?

We do not allow guests to cook at the property.   You are however welcome to bring a picnic, a microwave meal, and wine.  We have glasses that you are welcome to use.

Do you have Hairdryers?

We do not leave hairdryers in the rooms.  However, they are available on request.

Is there an Iron I can use?

We can let you have use of an iron and board on request.

Can we have an extra bed in the family room?

We can put in an extra fold out bed at a cost of £15.   Be aware that this makes the room a little snug.   Add this to your room booking on the booking form.

Can we have an extra bed in the Family Suite?

We can put an extra mattress in the attic room on request at a cost of £15.  You can add this to your room booking on the booking form.
